Holly + Joe… I do not have enough good things to say about these guys. They are loving, goofy, devoted, supportive… the list truly goes on forever. These two were the first couple I photographed when I moved to Colorado in late Winter, and let’s just say, these two make even snow covered mountains in the middle of winter feel like a cozy place to call home.
I don’t even know where to start with these two or this session. The love these guys have for one another, and everyone they know is the kind of love that fills entire towns, not just rooms. Joe is one of the goofiest people I have ever met, and is sure to make everyone around him feel instantly at ease and safe to be themselves. Holly has by far one of the biggest hearts I’ve ever encountered. If you want to know what she loves most in this world, you can check out her Influencer Instagram @TheDuchessOfDenver_. You are sure to see plenty of pictures of their puppy Sansa, Joe, all things fashion and fitness (shameless plug for my girl!), and all sorts of realness that’s worth following.
These two have a lust for life, and heart for others that are beyond pure. Their energy is infectious, and we LOVE spending time with them. Holly has been known to stop by between patients (she is an amazing Paraoptometric Tech), and hang out with me while I clean the house or meal prep between meetings, editing, and writing contracts amongst other things.
These two tie the knot in 3 WEEKS and I feel so honored to have captured their love story during their engagement, not just on this day in the mountains a few weeks after our move, but again a few months back in Boulder (blog coming soon for that session as well!).
If you can’t tell from this picture, these guys radiate positive, fun, and loving energy. To this day, this session is still one of my favorites, and I have to say it has everything to do with how absolutely stunning they are and very little to do with anything else…okay, except for these gorgeous mountain views behind them, maybe.
I cannot wait to see what is in store for these incredible human beings in the years to come as they remodel/decorate their house – which is also Joe’s childhood home, how sweet is that ?! – get married next month, raise Sansa girl, and continue to love one another so incredibly well. I love you guys x a million and I am so beyond thankful that our brief stint in Colorado gave us the gift of friends like you!
We absolutely cannot wait to host you in our new house whenever you are able to make it out to California next! If Joe’s family is really, extra lucky, they may get some time with both you too! 😉
